I completed well over 140 hours as an intern for Farm Bureau Insurance. I worked in three different offices across the state, meeting several different people. My job was to make phone calls. I called clients to wish them happy birthday, to update contact information, and to schedule appointments with their agents. This gave me great customer service experience. I also got to look into what it would be like to be an insurance agent, because agents typically have to make the same phone calls that I was making to convince clients to come in for a meeting. I learned so much during this internship and am so grateful that I was given this opportunity.
